you are completely spoiling me with your prolific-ness lately, bb. you're also causing my housemates to think i am crazy, as i literally squeak and clap my hands every time i see you've posted something new. w/e, worth it. ♥

okay, so. i have a very inexplicable soft spot for mark/chris and a totally understandable profound adoration for your fic in general & the two together are sort of leaving me speechless at the moment, but i will do my best to tell you at least a few of the things i loved about this, as there were a lot.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Chris bites back a thousand retorts about Mark being perfect just the way he is.

♥_______♥ that is all.

“He didn’t know you—before. You’ve gotten so much better.”

i love this not only because it's true but because chris knows it, really knows it, because he was there & they've been through so much & ugh, just, my heart.

Chris pretends he doesn’t hear him mutter, “But not enough better.”

MAAAARRRRKKK. i literally clutched at my heart right here. oh god i'm really not going to comment on every line of this, i swear.

He’s trying to teach to someone else what comes as naturally to him as breathing and is that even possible?

you consistently nail chris's characterization in fic (at least according to my head canon) by doing things exactly like this. brilliant.

“Do you like me?” he asks, blunt and guileless and thoroughly Mark.

i definitely did not just squeal again and clap my hands some more or anything.

god, and just, the whole concept, chris giving mark humanizing lessons only mark totally has ulterior motives and oh my god, there are just so many things i love about the two of them together. beautiful job as always, you are my queen, this comment is ridiculous, et cetera. ♥♥♥
